Holiday Club

Hawks run holiday clubs from 8am-6pm during all school holidays.


Summer Holiday Club 2018

23rd July - 3rd September 2018

Please note: Also in Hawks every day we have a playstation, variety of arts and crafts, large pool and zorbing available, x box, cookery, face painting, outside activities and much more… …

Please ensure you bring a packed lunch every day.

On trip days please arrive by 9am in appropriate clothing and footwear for the days activities.

Please also be aware that all activities are subject to change.

Spare clothes, sun cream and a towel is required every day to make full use of our zorbing, pool and bouncy castle (weather permitting).  

Please also provide appropriate clothing for our trips (for more information on our trips please speak to a Hawks member of staff).


Week 1:
23rd July - 27th July


Monday 23rd July

Cooking –
3D Animal cookies to take home

Clay animals and Masks –
Create your own animal out of clay and make your favourite animal mask to take home

Help needed –
Junk model our animals a new home, bring in recycling from home to add to our collection

Face painting –
Choose from our selection of designs and have your face painted by our talented artist. Try out our Special effects make-up. (All products we use are hypoallergenic)

Zorbing –
Using your balancing skills and walk on water




Tuesday 24th July

Trip – Local park
Enjoy playing on the equipment and join in our wacky races on the field.

Picnic lunch

T-shirt designing –
Design your t-shirt with our fabric pens and take it home

Nerf gun targets –
Take your aim on our large and small targets to earn points which you can trade for prizes




Wednesday 25th July

Homemade ice cream –
Make your own ice cream and choose your topping for after tea

Laser quest assault course
Working as a team to defeat your opponents

Textiles workshop –
Design and make a cushion to take home

Archery –
Whether you’re a beginner or a serious competitor join our instructor and perfect your aim

Body painting –
Choose from our designs and have your hands and feet painted




Thursday 26th July

Art attack –
Be prepared to get messy!
Create a masterpiece using paint without using your hands

Hair Braids –
Choose your favourite colour silks and have your hair braided

Gunge Games –
Be prepared to get gunged as you work your way through our assault course, staff vs children

Marshmallow playdough -
Brilliant sticky, messy fun! Use marshmallows to make playdough

Multi ball Bowling Tournaments –
compete for the most strikes




Friday 27th July

Trip –
Woodland and river walks, nature trails, play areas and climbing equipment

Picnic lunch

Mega Bounce and garden games

Giant Football and other games with our 13ft ball!

Cooking –
Fruit, cheese or plain scones

Hawks Spa –
Relax in Hawks’ spa, have your nails painted, choose from our nail gems, tattoos, hair gel or glitter spray (ages

Archery –
Whether you’re a beginner or a serious competitor join our instructor and perfect your aim

Hawks afternoon tea –
Enjoy a hot chocolate or English breakfast tea, served with your homemade scone

Garden obstacle course – Take part in our timed obstacle course




Tuesday 31st July

Trip – Fruit picking
Hop in our mini bus and let’s go pick some fruit! On our return we can make some delicious treats to eat and take home

Cooking –
Mini fruit crumbles to take home

Fruit skewers for tea

Bouncy castle and garden games –
Dodgeball, Ladder game, beat the goalie




Wednesday 1st August

Lighthouse –
Lighten up your bedtime by making a mini tea-light lighthouse to take home

Sports and games –
For all ages and abilities -
Hanging nerf gun targets
Tug of war

Hawks pizzeria –
Choose your toppings and enjoy a pizza for tea

Creation station -
Bracelet, keyring or bag charm -
Choose from our resources and make something to take home




Thursday 2nd August

Woodland trip –
Enjoy climbing and sliding, and in teams build a monster proof den
(tested by our Hawks den building experts)

Picnic lunch

Slush puppies -
Relax after a busy morning and enjoy making a cool slush puppy

Basketball challenge –
Skills workshop followed by a game

Short Tennis
All ages and abilities are welcome to join in




Friday 3rd August

First aid day –
Back by popular demand -
Join our first aid instructor and learn when to call 999. Could you patch up a friend who is in need, lift somebody to safety or administer basic first aid?
We will show you how

NEW to Hawks -
Special effects make-up tutorial. Learn how SFX make up is actually done

First aid certificate presentation

Week 3:
6th August - 10th August


Monday 6th August

Animal Care –
Look after our guinea pigs and chickens for the day, learn what is involved in caring for them

Target practice –
Shoot the water balloons up to 300ft and splat the staff with our giant slingshot. We provide the balloons, you provide the aim!

ICT Rebuild –
Use our range of tools and dismantle a range of equipment. Please feel free to bring in items from home too

Scooter Rally –
Bring your scooters in from home or borrow ours and take part in our scooter rally

Summer planting –
Plant your seeds and bulbs, take them home and watch them grow




Tuesday 7th August

Trip – Beach Trip
In teams create a giant sandcastle, have a paddle and join in our long jump and volleyball games

Wednesday 8th August

Cooking –
Hedgehog cupcakes

Graffiti Painting –
Use our selection of spray paints to create a Summer 2018 Hawks mural

Wet and Wild
Be prepared to get wet!
Enjoy a dip in our pool, have fun on our water slide and then pick your team for the ultimate water battle - Hawks staff vs children
(spare clothes are a must)

Thursday 9th August

Wacky Science Experiments
Rockets, fizzing, exploding, magnets

Picnic lunch in Hawks garden followed by marshmallows on Hawks’ fire

Football pool
Bringing the two games together for the ultimate team game

Giant Football and other games with our 13ft ball!




Friday 10th August

Trip -
Survival day
Woodland fire workshop, wild fire cooking, scavenger hunt, nature shelter building, woodland games and a map workshop, write a secret message on a pebble and hide it in the woods for our Little Harriers explorers to find

Picnic Lunch around the campfire

Giant paddling pool –
Cool down in Hawks giant pool with our inflatables (suncream, towels and spare clothes are required) (weather permitting)

Movie night
Movie tbc
Bring your pjs, sleeping bags and cuddly toy and join us for hotdogs, chips and ice cream followed by a movie

13th August - 17th August

Trip –
Pond dipping – Explore the water and see what you can find using our nets and magnifying glasses.

Tuesday 14th August

I’m a celebrity trials’ –
How brave are you?
Using your senses and courage, feel your way around our trial zone.

Crawl through our mission impossible maze to beat the timer

Hawks spa
After a heart stopping morning relax in Hawks salon and enjoy some pampering –
Hair braiding and colour sprays, tattoos and nails

Chocolate fountain –
Make your fruit skewers to dip in our fountain of chocolate




Wednesday 15th August

Creation station –
Clear the decks and fill half of Hawks with our biggest miniature village yet

Archery –
Fancy shooting some arrows? Have a go with our instructor, learn the basics or perfect your shot

Playstation competition –
Structured games between staff and children

Giant Paddle –
Enjoy a dip in our giant paddling pool (towels, suncream and swim suits are a must)




Thursday 16th August

Trip –
Hawks Master Chef –
In your teams choose a recipe, keep within your budget and go shopping for your ingredients. Then make your chosen recipe.

Giant Bubble Making

Gunge games –
Complete the gunge assault course. Team up and have fun filling up buckets of gunge (spare clothes required)




Friday 17th August

Jewellery making -
Using our selection of beads, make your own keyrings, bag charms or hair clips

Tools workshop -
Join us for an introduction to hammers, screws and power drills and create a wooden car to take home

Super soaker afternoon –
Please bring:
A towel
Spare clothes
Water pistols

Be prepared to get very wet!

20th August - 24th August


Monday 20th August

Park Trip

Starting our park week, is this the best one or are we leaving the best till last? Fill in our tick list and rate the parks every day. Which one will be your favourite?

With an action packed week of climbing, exploring, building, riding, paddling and field games. Let us know which one is the best

Stay standing, can you get from one side to the other without falling over?



Tuesday 21st August

Park Trip

2 parks in one day!
Enjoy the zip wire and balancing equipment in these parks as well as taking part in our wacky races

Picnic lunch

Stained glass jars –
Using our glass paint design your own jar to take home




Wednesday 22nd August

Park Trip

Become an archaeologist for the day, discover rare dinosaur bones ...

Have a paddle in the man made beach area (towels and spare clothes are a must) and enjoy a picnic lunch

Creation station –
Design your own dinosaur skeleton

Ice age challenge –
Fine tune your archaeology skills and use your chisel to free the dinosaurs




Thursday 23rd August

Park Trip

Bring in your own scooter and have a ride around the park.

Build sandcastles in the sandpit, feed the ducks and find the dragon hidden in the maze

Cheese straws




Friday 24th August

Park Trip

Packed with our sports equipment join in the fun and games on the green followed by a picnic lunch

Beach Trip -
Join us for a trip to the beach, take part in our sandcastle competitions, enjoy a paddle, beach volleyball, long jump and hunt for shells

Boat races -
Make mini boats to race, will they have what it takes to stay afloat?




Wednesday 29th August

Around the world –
Become an explorer! Make your own globe and treasure map. Find the hidden treasure in Hawks garden and enjoy trying different cuisines from multiple countries

RC – Racer day -
Bring in your remote control cars and test them out on our race track, or use ours to join in the race

Water zorbing –
Need I say more?




Thursday 30th August

Trip –
Explore a new park, test your balance and climbing skills, walk along the stream

Picnic Lunch

T-Shirt designs –
Design your t-shirts using our fabric pens and take it home




Friday 31st August

Hawks end of Summer Party –
Dress up in your best party outfits and enjoy a day of fun and games –
Hanging doughnuts,
Apple bobbing,
And musical statues

Hawks talent show –
Enter the stage and show off your talents, will you make it to the judges houses?

Hawks Talent Final –
Who will your winning vote go to? you decide!



3rd September


Monday 3rd September

Games day –
Join us for a challenging day of games based on the gameshow ‘The Cube’
Test your balance, sight, memory and co-ordination in these competitive team games

Make a giant ker-plunk, design a giant snakes and ladders board

Cooking –
Sweet and savoury pinwheels
